“Spamilton: An American Parody” Roars with Laughter

The Webb Center is excited to present the hit musical comedy “Spamilton: An American Parody” on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m. With the nation approaching its 250th anniversary, this spirited satire arrives at the perfect moment for those who love both history and a good laugh. Audiences will enjoy the show’s fast-paced humor and clever musical wit, while poking fun at the fandom and cultural impact surrounding the original musical, “Hamilton.” 

“Spamilton” is a high-energy spoof performed by a talented cast of eight who deliver nonstop comedy, musical surprises, and affectionate Broadway send ups. The New York Times called it “smart, silly and convulsively funny.”  

One of the joys of “Spamilton” is that audiences do not need to see “Hamilton” to enjoy the show. It features jokes about many Broadway favorites including “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Into the Woods,” “The Book of Mormon,” and “West Side Story.” The production also includes playful nods to celebrities such as Barbra Streisand, Julie Andrews, Liza Minnelli, and Cher, along with 30 costume changes, 10 wigs, and more than 50 songs accompanied by a live pianist.  

Tickets are on sale now for this one-night comedy event, with all-in pricing starting at $49 for adults and $9 for youth ages 18 and under.
