Live from Laurel Canyon Returns with an Evening Celebrating Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young

The Webb Center invites audiences to kick off the new year with music from one of the most influential folk-rock bands of the 1960s and 70s. Arizona-based ensemble, Live from Laurel Canyon, returns on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 7:30 PM for an unforgettable evening honoring the legendary supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

The concert tells the story of how a simple jam session in Los Angeles’ fabled Laurel Canyon neighborhood blossomed into a movement that redefined American folk-rock. When David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash first sang together, their seamless harmonies became an instant sensation. The arrival of Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young, Stills’ former bandmate from Buffalo Springfield, completed the circle, creating a sound that would influence generations of musicians to come.

Through rich storytelling, archival imagery, and unforgettable songs such as “Our House,” “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” and “Teach Your Children,” show creator and vocalist Brian Chartrand brings to life the relationships, inspiration, and artistic brilliance that defined the Laurel Canyon era. “We weave together the music and the stories that shaped a generation,” said Chartrand. “Our goal isn’t imitation, it’s celebration. We honor these artists by making the songs our own while staying true to what makes them timeless.”

Chartrand is joined by an exceptional ensemble of Phoenix area musicians including Holly Pyle on vocals, Josh Taylor on vocals and guitar, Todd Chuba on drums, Lamar Gaines on keys, Adam Armijo on electric guitar, and Mario Mendivil on bass. Together they capture the emotional depth and intricate harmonies that turned CSNY into one of the most powerful musical voices of their time.
